But What About "How to Crimp Connectors"?
You might wonder why a procurement manager is talking about connector crimping. Fair question. The reason is simple: even the best OTDR can't fix a poorly terminated connector. And the cheapest termination kit often produces inconsistent results. Under federal law (18 U.S. Code § 1708), only USPS-authorized mail can be placed in residential mailboxes. While that doesn't apply to fiber, the principle holds—there are standards for a reason.
